2005 kodiak 450 backfired
#1
hey guys i got a question about backfiring, today i rode my kodiak notto far but i was on the higher end of thethottle going up theroad and when i let off about when it was almost around mid throttle slowing down it did a big pop out teh exhaust. it was about 84 today. it only happened one time and i tried at least 3 times to make it happen again, any suggestions, just took it to a small dealer and had it serviced, pilot screw is at 1 3/4 and needle is stock, i have a 2 inch exhaust tip if that matters? otherwise runs great! let me know guys!!

Mine did the same thing when the weather warmed up here in the Mojave desert it started to "pop" in the lower end of the throttle. I took it in and had it serviced to include the checking and adjusting of the injectors and such and after the shop worked their magic it stopped doing it.
