Default Dont know which atv to buy?

I've never owned an atv but I just got a truck and wanted to get one. I'm not sure what to get, all Im going to do is go ride around in fields and mud riding, but the mud riding im talking about is not sinking the bike, just like 1 foot mud puddles just to have some fun. Ive looked at the Honda rancher 450 and it looks pretty good as far as what ive seen. Just would like some input

Good machine that will last forever with minimal maintenance.

Pretty much any 4x4 out there will meet your needs. Hondas are probably most reliable, Polaris most comfortable ride, Yamaha is a great mix of everything good, Can-Ams tend to be fastest per cc, and Suzuki, Arctic Cat, and Kawasaki all have great machines. Look around and see if you can give a couple a test drive to see what fits your needs.

Don't know which truck you just got but I would suggest that you make sure it will fit in the back. Larger quads won't fit well in small trucks. But staying in that cc range there are plenty of good machines as long as you stick with the major manufacturers.

Good luck. Ride safe & smart.
