Thinking about getting a bike
#11
someone put a thread here recently about an extension apparatus to load 2 atvs in the back of your truck. i can't find it but maybe someone knows what it was called. fairly neat device-can't remember the price though. here's another idea if you're not afraid of some heights when loading.

Actually, I went dirt bike to ATV. No spring chicken here at 53, was getting tired of being beat up when (not if) it went down. Man, after a few years go by, those bumps and bruises really start to hurt. As I use it for farm work on my rough-as-a-cob farm, it's so much handier to be able to carry your stuff with you.
Just got a 2up ATV - Cat TRV400. Decent enough power, comfortable, and it climbs hills great, that longer wheelbase makes it a lot more stable.
Warning - you need an 8 foot truck bed to fit a 2 seater in. I set out to get a TRV three years ago, found it absolutely would not fit in my little Ranger. Just too long. So I bought a bigger truck instead.
