I think if I were a Supreme Court Judge at this point that I would site Chicago with contempt. All they're doing is trying to delay and hinder the people of Chicago from defending themselves. I'm all for instant background checks and safety courses. The rest of it is ridiculous. I can picture criminals waiting for people to leave their homes rather than breaking in. If I lived in a high crime neighborhood I wouldn't put a trigger lock on at night either. It would be within my reach and my kids would all go to safety courses too.

 

Chicago politicians are out of control. The restrictions are absurd. The second amendement finally gets the clarification from the court it deserves (It is an individual right, imagine that!!), and the A-holes in CHi-town couldn't deal with that, so now this BS. I wonder what the average 911 response time in Chicago is... Bet my 9mm is quicker.

 

Sadly this is yet another example of liberal politics at it's finest..

I get so tired of their arrogant, "we know how to take care of you", attitude. To agree with what Bitterfitter said, I think it's a little bit faster if I grab my 9mm and open up on them than it is to call 911.

 

Chicago voted this guy in, unbelievable.........Just another gun banning politician, not looking at the facts. Makes me sick!! I drove from Wyoming to Michigan to visit family and I totally avoided the state of Ill since I couldn't carry.

 

Yep could not agree more! I think Illinois in now on my list of places NOT to visit list!
