I have a 88' Honda Fourtrax 300 that I'm trying to fix up. There is an electrical problem in it somewhere and I need suggestions of where to look. When I try to hook it up to a brand new battery with the key out and the kill switch on OFF, the ATV tries to start up when you touch the battery cables to the battery posts. I'm sure it's something small, but if you couldn't tell from the year I don't have money to play around with. Please give me suggestions!
