Street Legal Polaris Ev?
#1
Hey everybody;
I was watching an episode of dirt trax the other day, and they were showing the new Polaris's. they had a Polaris ranger ev on the show, that was apparently Polaris's street legal version? well ive looked all over the web, and i cant find another mention of it. anyone got any info? i live in Canada and think it sounds like a great idea, but here in Ontario i wonder how it would work with licensing. anybody else heard of this?

I live in Ontario,Canada even if they make one I doubt it would be legal here. Ontario still does not recognize or allow 2 up riding on public roads on ATVs even on the newer 2up designed ATVs. Its stupid because they allow 2 up on sleds on public roads even if the sled is made for a single person only.
Here a post about it, there electic right? http://www.archerytalk.com/vb/showthread.php?t=1065047

and if you look at the mto's website, the most current thing is that they are pushing electric vehicles. it says their goal is to have 1 out of every 20 vehicles electric in canada, and they are offering up to $9000 off the purchase of a new electric vehicle to support this... i was thinking a street legal ranger ev would be pretty darn cheap with that credit, and if i threw a little gennie in the back like the guy in that post said it would have pretty good range too
