Go with the grizz IMO. I have friends with them and they are good machines with very few issues ever. Good amount of power/speed. Good ride second to polaris. And built for work and play. The brutes have plenty of power and fast but that's about the only nice thing I will say about them.

I'd also go with the Grizzly if top speed is not the main reason. Both great machines. Don't care for holding on to a lever to keep the front locked in like the BF has. As Readymixer said, the Grizzly has a good comfortable ride second only to Polaris. I agree with that. Both machines will do pretty much everything you require. If you can take both for a ride and see how much you like them.

If you need to buy one now I would go with the Grizzly just as everyone else has said, good power, decent ride comfort and dependable. The Brutes have the power edge but don't ride or handle as good as the Grizzly.
