Well now the wife wants to get a SXS - probably a new rzr 900, but with that she said I'ld have to sell my quad first. No idea on what kind of asking price to ask - here are the specs, and any input would be greatly appreciated. I can post pics later, but can't do it at work unfortunately.

2008 Polaris 800 touring - stealth black
240 miles on it - not sure on hours, but not much
Stock sized Maxxis Zilla tires - approx 200 miles on them
Polaris brushguard in front w/2500lb Warn winch

Does have a few light scratches, but other then that, bout it.


Also may sell as a package with a 5x8 trailer, but I know what my selling price of that would be seperately.

 

Check around and see what similar ones in your area are selling for. Craigslist, the local classifieds. You can check and see what NADA suggests, but you might not get what they come up with. All good guides to get you started.

You can always ask too much and try to sell it later. But it really sucks to sell it low and find out you could have gotten more.

 

yeah I've been looking through craigslist, auto trader, and Ebay to try and find something comparable, but haven't come up with much. I've found 500 tourings, and normal 800s, but no 800 tourings (though maybe my internet search skills are lacking). Did the NADA and liked that number, but when I asked my self would I pay that for a used atv if I was looking, didn't think so - lol.

 

Kelly Blue Book puts retail at $6235 and trade in at $4300. I'd try to get around $6700 or so.
