Default AZ street legal riders

I have a street legal trx250 and I was thinking about taking it to the dunes in California. It seems to me that states are obligated to respect other state's vehicle registration, so I could drive on the streets in any state as my atv is a registered and insured Arizona motorcycle. Has anyone traveled to other states by atv?

it is up to that state just an example Ky you can ride mopeds and scooters on the streets no license no registration can you do that in Ohio NO in Minnesota you can ride a scooter without a drivers license as long as its insured and has a plate on it again you can not take that scooter to Ohio and drive it as Ohio says scooters are NOT allowed on the streets. in Ohio we do not have a helmet law as long as you have eye protection (glasses, goggles, windshield) I can not go to a state that requires a helmet and not wear one

But as long as the state doesn't specifically exempt atv's from highway travel, and I comply with all helmet laws, I should be legal. AZ atv's can be registered as a motorcycle, and I have an AZ motorcycle license. I know every cop that I pass by is going to pull me over, but I dont see how they could charge me with anything. If I drive a my car to California, I don't have to stop by the emissions office first, my car only has to comply with Arizona laws.

you said the same thing I was saying "it depends on the laws" how they are written and how that state enforces them. if they say no atvs allowed on the road it dont matter that its legal in AZ and thats where your from it matters what laws are in effect where you are at. in previous post I made Minnesota registers scooters as a bike and you get a bike plate Ohio does not recognize that as Ohio says "no scooters on public roads" your in the same situation as this
