For snow riding I would want an ATV with four wheel drive. You have a good bit of experience, so have you compared two wheel drive to four wheel drive in snow? Maybe a used Wolverine 350 would be a good choice.

We have a couple of four wheel drive sport quads, and a couple of two wheel drive sport quads in the garage. If we need to ride in snow we just leave the two wheel drive quads at home, instead of spending all day not being able to go anywhere. Maybe re-think how much time you're really going to spend riding in snow if you want a sport quad.

Yep, had a 2wd Lakota 300. Did fine in snow up to a few inches deep. It snows a lot more than that here. Have 2 4wd quads that we use all year round. Wolverine 350 or 450 would be a good choice, another is the Polaris Scrambler 500. You can get them used for decent prices.

I think it is selectable now and was maybe full time 4wd before, but don't quote me on that. Not 100% sure.
