Just an update

Our son Noah John was born 4/19/12 at 12:27pm and was 5lbs 15oz and 19 1/4 inches long he spent 4 days in the Neo-natal ICU due to some breathing problems caused from having the cord around his neck but is doing 100% now. His momma was rushed to the operating room immediately to stitch some things up and is now feeling great . It's a scary and almost helpless feeling when you are left standing in the delivery room alone after watching your wife and son being wheeled out and told all you can do is wait. After many prayers I'm happy to say we are now home and everyone is completely healthy and doing great

My wife went through 12 hrs of labor and still had to have an emergency c- section when my son got stuck in the birth canal because she didn't dilate large enough. Came out with a cone head, thought he was deformed at first! Never had see something like this!Even my mother who was present was shocked and she gave birth to my 7 siblings at home with midwives! (I was the youngest and the only one to be born in a hospital.) Happy to say it took about a week for him to have a normal head! OPT

My wife was in labor for 22 hours after being induced...hardest thing I've ever had to watch with her being in so much pain and all. As my brother in law put it after I tried to explain why they had to induce her: "ohhhh, so there wasn't enough water left in the swimming pool for him to stay in" lol. She went through all that without any drugs or pain relievers. In my eyes she is now the strongest person in the world.

well i'm glad everything went ok. my wife also went through about 18-20 hrs of labor both times she gave birth to my kids.
i will tell you this, God knew what he was doing when He made me a man. BECAUSE I COULDN'T SURVIVE ALL OF THAT PAIN GIVING CHILDBIRTH.
women are tougher than men, i'll admit that.
i'm glad your wife and baby are doing fine!
