Default need suggestions for brands

I have never owned an ATV. I spend 5 months a year in Mexico and carry a scooter down in a 9 x 5 cargo trailer. i am thinking an ATV would work better. Trouble is most seem to be 48 inches wide. The rear door on my trailer is 47.5 inches. I odntl think i need 4 wheeel drive, it will be used mainlky for street use or on the beach. Needs to hold 2.

if you play your cards right, a sport quad will give the funnest time you've ever had on a quad.
but for work... quad doesn't help a lot.. might as well buy a farm truck for the same price.

3 companies make 2-up machines. Polaris, Can-Am and Arctic Cat. Don't know much of anything about ACs. Polaris machines are 47.5-48" width depending on what year you're talking about. Can-Ams are 46" according to their website. Can-Ams are typically fastest per CC while Polaris tends to have the most rider/driver comfort.

You should be able to fit 2- 250ex or 2- 300ex. Stock width is 43-44 inches. With a small amount of fuel in the tank drive it into the trailer. Stand it up on its wheelie bar. Push it to the front of the trailer on its wheelie bar, repeat with the second machine. Make sure they get straped down well.

so just to clarify you are looking for 2 quads to fit in your trailer? or you are looking for a quad to fit 2 on it? as it was written I and others thought you was looking to fit 2 up on one quad

I think what he was saying is that he wants "an" (that is, one) ATV and is looking for a 2 rider machine that is under 47.5" wide....

which leads me to believe that he is wanting to fit 2 machines in his trailer
instead of what he posted earlier

Needs to hold 2.

which led me to think that he was looking for a 2 up machine
