I recently just sold my 06 z400, I didnt care for it to much. did not have enough low end power for me and it rode rough. So now i am looking for something else. Im not interested in a 4x4 and ive been really looking at an 05 or newer predator troy lee or an outlaw. I will mainly be riding trails and some open areas. I dont really care to jump it so weight is not an issue.

 

I would look into a raptor 660-700, Outlaw? I think its the out law that has the IRS, 700xx, 400ex. All 4 are awsome sport/trail quads.

 

the raptors or alittle higher than what i want to pay, im looking to spend around 2500, and ive been able to find predators and outlaws for around that price, but ive had trouble finding good info on them, are they very reliable any major issues, ive heard to stay away from anything 04 or older?

 

I have heard the same thing about the predators and outlaws. I dont know a lot about them. Around here the raptors are going for around 2500 on craigs list. You might want to post questions in the Polaris section.

 

400ex is as good of a trail bike as you can get for around 2500, in my opinion. You can find an 05+ for around $2000-$2500 here.
