Oky doke, i'm feeling pretty good about wiring this, now all i've got to do is go buy the light a tractor supply, find a toggle, and chop some wire.

Only thing i worry about is the toggle. I'm not sure about wiring through the toggle or where/how im going to mount it. I was hoping I could drill a hole and find some sort of cool toggle to mount in it.

Anyone wired in toggles before?, there was one i messed with on a go-kart a long time ago, but i can't remember how it was set up.

the toggle is no big deal 2 wires with toggle in the middle it opens when one way and closes the circuit the other way its as simple as drilling a hole and they are held in with a nut that threads onto the toggle only thing I would make sure I did (since it is under the frame) is make sure it is wrapped real good with tape or something that would help keep moisture out of the wires

like mentioned above- toggles are very simple.

an illuminated toggle will have 3 tabs (called a single pole - illuminated), and a simple "on / off" non-illuminated will have only 2 tabs (single pole switch).

you're mounting the toggle "in-line" on the hot wire (see the diagram I drew for you)- so there's no ground for the toggle switch. Basically tap off the 12+ wire from one side of the toggle, the other side of the toggle will go to your light.

you simply drill a hole to mount the toggle.

walmart will have the lights, wire and switches you need- actually, most of the lights come with the wire & toggle already.

you can buy 2 lights / toggle & wire (all in one kit) from walmart for around $15 - $25.

The flashlight comes pre wired.

If you get the good ones, the battery is included.

And, it's portable.

Between the truck and trailer running lights and the lights on the quad I don't have any trouble loading and tying down at night. Same with unloading. I have a big spotlight that plugs into the cigarette lighter but I never use it.
