Atv for my wife
#1
I'm looking for ideas for an ATV for my wife.
We have an old 230 Quadsport and a new 400 Quadsport. The 400 is too big/fast for what she wants. The 230 fits her size well, but she's really not into the kick start or the manual clutch.
So, what options are there in the 250-300 size range that has an automatic clutch or either a fully automatic transmission?
I'd prefer something that's 15 yrs old or newer. And it must be a sport-style ATV. I'd love to get her a Raptor 250, but the manual clutch kills that as an option.

I think the 06+ honda 250ex has a begenner clutch or some kind of gizmo that doesn't require the clutch to shift... i think..
Really, all the adult sized sport quads i've been around have the manuel clutch...

I got an atv for my wife. It's the best trade I every made.
Seriously though I know a couple of women who ride Trail Blazers and are happy with them. It looks just like a Scrambler but it's a 330 4x2 instead of a 500 4x4.

The newer Honda 250exs are great. They do have a clutch but it is not needed to shift. As she gets into riding more she can use it, which gives her more control over the revs and what not. Cant kill the little 250s. She still needs to shift with her feet (5spd) but she doesnt have to get the clutching and shifting together.
