Default Need Mercury (Hg) for carb synch tool

I have a carburetor synchronization tool that uses mercury in the vacuum tube gauges. During a move most of the mercury leaked out and I am now left with a tool I really need but is now useless. Does anyone know where I can get, or can send me, approximately 1 - 2 fluid ounces of Mercury? Any help would be appreciated.

I still have the Motion Pro carb synchronization gauge myself. The last time I tried to order an extra bottle of mercury from Parts Unlimited they had stopped selling it and have gone to the non mercury gauge. Still should be some places around, but it's getting scarce. If I was still in need of my gauge very much I would get the English made Morgan Tune gauge. It uses light weight aluminum rods and vacuum only. Much safer and more accurate and you don't have to worry about any mercury separating, loss or having it sucked into the engine. OPT

It may not look high tech, but it works. And it's cheap. Fork oil works really well in these.

$1.55 carb sync tool.

Lab supply stores, and locally look for sign shops that do in-house neon bending, they add mercury to tubes when they make them, neon supply shops sell it too.
