Default Trading in a vehicle with known issue

So I am trading in my POS Ford truck due to a p0345 code that I just can't fix... $1500 and 30 hours of my time already invested....... The truck sometimes cause rough idle at low RPM once the engine reaches operating temp. The check engine light never comes on, just throws a pending P0345 code.

Thursday we test drove a new to us used 2010 vehicle. We agreed on a price with the dealer and the only thing they had to do was review my truck.

Today I brough my truck there and they had the keys or about 30 minutes while I was inside filling out a credit app. They had come back and said my vehicle was fine and that they already have a Wholesaler who wants the truck... So then I left the dealer - it turns out they never moved the truck (Trip meter still read 0.0 miles.)

So on Monday I am bringing the truck back and doing a 1 for 1 swap and picking up my used 2010 vehicle..

My question is this... Do I need to tell the dealership about it the p0345 code?? Will there be any paperwork in the mess of stuff I sign stating the condition of my truck?

Being the honest person that I am, I'd probably tell them.

But I'd have the keys to my new vehicle in my pocket when I did.

Just kidding I say tell them about it, if they take your trade they'll probably cover it up... knowing dealers.... I'd just hate to be the poor soul who gets the truck at an abnormally low price.

Unfortunately I feel I am pot committed at this point..... To go in @ the 11th hour and say oh by the way.. "The truck runs rough but otherwise ok" then they are going to be like WTF?

At this point I am going to let it ride... and just live with it.. The dealer itself is wholesaling the truck - they already told me so the off the the auctions it goes.
