I saw the wolverine has a oil cooler, I am pretty sure I can make something with odds and ends from ebay to add one to my timberwolf, But would it be worth it? Does the timberwolf get hot enough to warrant a oil cooler?

 

If it needed an oil cooler I'm pretty sure they would have put one on it.

 

My 1988 Yamaha 250 Moto4 never had a oil cooler same 229.6cc motor and still runs great to this day. I dont think a oil cooler would of been noticed.

 

Out of curiosity, how many rebuilds on your moto 4? And sorta off topic, Your not the guy I am talking to about getting two moto 4's off of are you?

 

I bought my 87 Moto 4 used in 1993 and sold it to a friend in 1999. He still rides it today and its never had a rebuild from us anyways.

 

So orignal motor, Doesn't burn oil?

 

Not when I had it and I see him running around and see no blue smoke ever come out of it.
