Default 01 Honda 300ex or 88 Yamaha warrior

Well I'm buying my first four wheeler and stuck on what to get my options are a Honda 300ex or a Yamaha warrior both in great shape the Honda has two small cracks in plastic, no big deal, and the warrior is in great condition all around... I am a big tall guy at 6ft3 and 275#s and looking for something to just have fun on gravel country roads, fields and some trails... Any input would be great... Thanks

Welcome to the forums.

Without knowing any specifics, I'd lean toward the 300 just because it's a really solid quad. Both are great if they've been taken care of. A lot of mods for the 300 out there, both new and used. (ebay)

I agree with scoot- the 300ex is a better choice if those are the only two.
but at 6'3" & 275... your knees are gonna be touching your chest- you should really consider a full sized big bore atv.

Had the 300ex. It was a great machine with no real issues.
If you can find a 400ex it would be the way to go.

Go with the warrior, it's a great all around quad.

agree- minimum 400cc for your weight & size. you're still gonna be cramped on the 400ex (your knees will be bent far back while sitting) but at least you'll have a bit more power! Honestly- I'd be looking for a KFX 750 or 450r, a ds 450, a raptor 660r or even an outlaw 525 if I were your size- those will be a lot more fun for a guy with your size & weight-
