I live in Phoenix AZ and plan on getting a quad in the next month or two. Im curious if the trails around here are actually tighter than I think. At first, I was considering a 700 Raptor, then thought many trails have rocks, turns, cliffs, cattle gates and cacti, etc.

Do you find that riding at the trails around the city, that you are often NOT flying around on open trails, and having to stay in lower gears?
