Default Fitting ATV in Parts in Trunk

I'm thinking about buying a 2002 honda 400ex that is in pieces right now. Plastic and swingarm are off. I have never owned an atv before so I do not have a truck or trailer. I have a ford escape. Would it be possible to fit it in the trunk with the rear seats folded down?

That's a SUV right? If you fold down all the rear seats it should work.
I know people who fold down the seats and sleep in them on camping trips rather then setting up a tent.
If you have a ball on the car can,t you borrow or rent a small trailer from U-Haul.

i could but i'm really trying to save as much money as possible. I have a class ii hitch but no ball. The ford escape is an suv. I could also remove the front passenger seat to allow for a bit more room.
