favorite christmas carol's - best / worst?

everyone has their favorites-
which ones do you like and which ones do you want to banish from the radio stations forever?
favorite's:
the old school "little drummer boy" and the instrumental peanuts tune- and "Baby, it's cold outside" performed by Johnny Mercer and Margaret Whiting.
these make me want to hang myself when I hear them:
anything from bruce springsteen, mariah carey and feliz navi dad- probably because they are so overplayed and annoying.

I mostly listen to Bob Rivers' comedy songs and if I get serious I toss in a Mannheim Steamroller CD. I rarely ever turn on a radio so I don't hear anything else.

Sorry OPT, I can't stand Rocking Around the Christmas tree especially when I hear Dolly Parton's version.
Favorites are: Peace Is Here sung by Jars of Clay, Joy to the World, and Chrismastime by Larry Norman.

I somewhat enjoy Dreaming of a White Christmas, but honestly a lot of the radio stations around here switch over to play all Christmas music this time of year, and they play so many of the same songs it drives me nuts. I much prefer sitting with my daughter while sipping a nice glass of eggnog and watching A Christmas Story marathon

friend- if I didn't know you better, I'd think you were serious

I happen to know you're a closet Christmas carol listener

I watch it every year- I love it, along with A Christmas Carol.
My oldest son- (10) just asked us today while in the car going to my mothers for a turkey feast; is santa real?
It was time I guess- he figured out the easter bunny & tooth fairy aren't real also

I told him those were all fake, but Frosty the Snowman is 100% real

Ahh well
- as long as he keeps it going for his 4yo brother and his soon to be baby sister.
