Default Laws and what not

Not sure if this is the place to ask this but I am wondering about the law in Nova Scotia on One Up seats. Are you allowed to have them? I looking at buying a new machine (post below on them lol) and the dealer is selling me a one up seat (I believe it's called) and a snow plow with it. So am I allowed to stick my kind on the seat and go ?

Thanks for your time in this for me..

I'm not sure what the equivalent of the dmv is in Canada, but that's who I would check with. That way you're getting the exact answer, and not one that may be true for your area.
