need some help

Default need some help
I have a 05 artic cat 400 auto 4x4 and the 4x4 won't work I can hear a noise in,the front end when I push the 4x4 but nothing engages what could be causing this

I would inspect all the wires, check the fuse to verify its not bad, and also check your switch using a multi meter. If all those things check out okay I would assume the actuator is bad.
