Default Importing a ATV

Hi, when I find a 2008 Yamaha 350 twin in Canada I want. to bring it to north Dakota or Oregon. I've never imported any thing and I want the newest banshee I can get, I would get a 2012 banshee from China if I had the money. If I could get the sale value from some one from Canada on a banshee and what I need to get it legally here. I would really appreciate it. I would go with a 2006 banshee from the US but I want the newest model year I can get.

P.S. I also would like to know why Yamaha stopped imports to America!

Thanks, Cody

I believe all new 2-stroke quads are unavailable in the US because of the EPA regulations, the clean air act or something like that.

Yes, epa crap. Funny they still sell the yz 125 and 250 here though. I am interested in what you find out. I have a feeling importing a newer one may be more expensive than finding a clean one in the us. They never really changed to much, don't know about after 2005.

If that's the case then... F@CK EPA. Its just a scam to get the government money, same thing for ATF department.
