Hey there everyone, I'm looking to get another ATV for my wife/kids.
I'm bascially looking for a quad under 3800 and I noticed that there are several manufactures. I'm looking at 500's and under, some full time 4x4, some look "sun beat" but run great, some have $$$ put into them, etc. I know that in my price range I'm not getting "top of the line new", but are there things out there that are obvious to you experienced owners that would be important to know about. Or more importantly things that I SHOULD STAY AWAY FROM... Im talking about habitual problems, weak links on certain parts of certain brands, etc.

you really cannot go wrong with name brand machines.. The over seas machines your are sorta taking a shot in the dark. Personally i have had no major issues with import machines.
