Hi my name is Charles , Im new to the forums but I have a few questions. I bought a Honda Fourtrax 300 2wd the other day. I bought it from a guy who told me the rear differential gears would have to be rebuilt/replaced. So my questions are: 1; Does anyone know any good sites I could buy a full rearend rebuild kit without spending an arm and a leg for it. How hard are they to rebuild?? Also I've never done any rebuilds one these before. Has anyone done one before? Any advice /help/videos/Photos/general knowledge I need to know about rebuilding one ? ANY information will be greatly appreciated !!Its winter time here and I'm wanting to get this repaired before the spring. Thanks in advanced !!

 

Pull it apart and see what needs rebuild. May just need new bearings and you can take those to your local bearing shop and get them matched up pretty cheap. if it needs gears then search ebay
