Default 1986 polaris trailboss 250 problems

My trail boss that I recently replaced the crank seals on will now idle fine but when I'm riding it, and I push I full throttle it won't get up and go like it used to what could be causing this? Also there is a noise coming from the gearcase that sounds like the chain inside is rubbing on something inside and usually when I put it into gear it stalls very easily could the chain be the culprit of all this? Any input it appreciated thanks

If it stalls when you place it in gear then sounds like a clutch problem. First thing to usually go is the rear clutch ramp buttons, plus a broken motor mount can cause the clutches to get out of alignment and the belt can ride along the inner sheath of the front clutch. This puts pressure on the rear clutch at all times.Dirt Cheap Yamaha, Polaris, Suzuki & Kawasaki OEM Parts & Accessories – Cycle Parts Warehouse Dirt Cheap Yamaha, Polaris, Suzuki & Kawasaki OEM Parts & Accessories – Cycle Parts Warehouse

Transmission internal silent chain could be worn, stretched over the years but I'd eliminate any clutch problem first. Silent chain is less than 40 bucks, but more trouble to pull the gear case than actually replacing the chain.

Also when I'm riding it it feels like it's hitting the Rev limiter on it but I have replaced the Rev limiter already, but when I'm riding it and it's hitting the limiter if I turn on the headlight it will rev higher a little bit could this be the the other limiter that is up towards the front of the bike by the Rev limiter?

There's only one rev limiter. The other square module is the regulator/rectifier. All limiters will fail.. Better just to pull the black wire from the limiter and eliminate it. Again if you haven't checked the clutches, this may be the problem area.
