Default What oil for trans and Diffs? Polaris

I just changed the engine oil in my sportsman 400 HO. Does the trans have a different place to put oil besides engine oil, and if so, what oil and where to fill it?

And for the differential I just want to know what you guys think is best. Thanks

Hex head plg on the side for draining and filling. Use Polaris AGL on this. Front diff use Demand Drive Plus hub fluid. Here's the best 5 bucks you can spend that will help on service and repairs.2011 Polaris Sportsman 400 HO Service Manual PDF Download

On the front diff and gear case I'd stay with Polaris oils. Most of the guys on the forum will tell you that also. Engine oil and filter is up to you. 0w40,5w40,5w50 as long as it's a good synthetic oil.

So use Polaris demand drive oil for front and rear diffs, and Polaris AGL oil for the gearcase, correct?

You don't have a separate rear diff. The 400 gear case is one unit. Use Agl. Front Diff use Demand drive fluid.Dirt Cheap Yamaha, Polaris, Suzuki & Kawasaki OEM Parts & Accessories – Cycle Parts Warehouse

Depending on the year the on demand fluid goes into the front hubs or front diff. The tranny takes chain case oil , its a rear diff/ tranny all in one set up.
I use shell full synthetic chain case oil in the tranny since I also use it in my sleds. Amsoil is good also.
If you open up the tranny its one big chain inside.

It is a 2011. Should i still use the oils you suggested for my bike? And there is no front hub oil.
