Hi I rebuild my motor on my bike started it up a couple of times and now my starter is dragging and will not start rebuild the starter to still have the same problem please help thinks

 

Starter bendix can also cause problems if you didn't replace it also. Not worth rebuilding starters even if the rebuild kits have all the bearings,bushings and brush kits included. Problem is the armatures can get egg shaped over time and can still cause dragging.We tried that at the shop for a while and sent old starters out to a generator repair shop for rebuilding and sold them at cheap prices. Problem was that most wouldn't last 6 months at the most. Cheaper just to chunk em and buy a new starter. DB electric has about the best prices around on just the starters or with a new bendix included. DB Electrical - Sportsman
