Default Counter Balance

Hello just got a 2001 250 Polaris Explorer
Need to know is there counter Balance fluid change did Trans and front case today can't find any other fluids to change? Any help would be great thanks

There is on the 400 two stroke. Not sure about the 250.

No counter balancer on the Explorer 250. Just has gear case fluid,front diff and hub fluids to change and the 2 stroke oil tank can just be topped off. Good little machines that were only made a couple years.

Thanks just got to find hub oil fill now thanks looks like there just grease serts

Is it normal for a 2001 Polaris xplorer 2 stroke to have a rattle in the engine I was told it was

Some are noisy yes,but to be on the safe side do a compression check. This can tell you you the condition of the top end. Minimum needs to be 100 psi to run,but that is getting pretty low. Good area on compression is between 120-130 psi on average. 2 strokes don't last as long as 4 stokes on top ends and may be close to time to freshen it up.
