yes change to a haus fairlead. One without rollers. Even if the normal fairlead says it will work with rope it still has the risk of catching a edge. Trust me i know a simple extraction in the show turned into a 4 hour extraction. Cut my rope close to the drum and i did not know how to do a proper repair at the time.. Also do yourself a favor and keep a short pc of wire coat hanger in your tool kit for rope repairs. Also teach yourself how to do a proper repair it could be the difference of getting out safely

I just checked and that 2500lb Superwinch is now $99.99+mount at Cabellas. Some of the mounts are on sale but the most expensive are $59.99, which is how much the one for my Brute Force costs. Not a bad deal for a good quality winch. I paid twice that for the 2500lb KFI winch and mount I had on my recent Grizzly.

I use a warn 2,500 winch no problem at at never really need it just to pull others out of the mud
