Default Sportsman 500ho help please!

Hi everyone. I'm new here and hoping for some help with my 06 sportsman 500ho efi. My left hand kill switch had been going bad(intermittently shutting atv off) so I replaced it with a used one from eBay. Installed and connected wiring harness and viola had power again. Lights, dash, and fuel pump all working. But now atv will only crank and not start at all! Not even a sputter. Before the switch problem it ran fine. Any ideas on what's wrong and how to fix???

The left control switches had enough problems shorting out as is. Buying used electrical parts is just taking a gamble. I'd spring for a new one for 78 bucks.
