Runva is Chinese but I had good luck with a Polaris winch that was made in China. Some Chinese stuff is okay and some is crap. It all depends on quality control which some companies don't seem to have. Runva sounds like one of the good ones. Watch the country of origin closely, China is crap but Taiwan is good quality, many people just assume the Taiwan is same as China but a very big difference. In Taiwan the American companies can come in and set up standards and quality control measures where they cannot do so in China...you take what you got!!

other than a bad bearing never had a issue with Runava winches. been running them for years and abused them pretty bad and they still keep running. You get down to it all the manufacturers get their products made over seas don't kid yourself if you think they don't

Be rest assured the grease did not cause the electrical issue as it does not conduct electricity. If you had sparks, you had another wire touching somewhere and those electrical components do not take being shorted out in any way. There are test for those but I am not familiar with them so you need to do some research.

Hello I new at this but I need some help I have 2002 rancher 350es and I think I Fried my ecm cause it's hot to the touch and it won't shift or charge. Before this happen I called myself cleaning the connector by putting grease and soon as I did that I place the battery cables on and a big spark on the positive side and I check the fuses and a 30amp motor fuse and replace it but it didn't fix it and hasn't blown the new so could it be the ecm I really need help thanks
