Default Late 2004 700sportsman run/kill switch

im new and not to mechanical🤪 I think this is pretty straight forward but after reading threads with diodes CSU. Warnings thought I better ask. If I put a little pressure on the run switch(left side handle bar)and hold it tab will run but as soon as I lift pressure atv dies. I assume it’s just a contact problem in switch but?? Any ideas. I almost live in a igloo with no warm garage so fast easy repair would be nice🤡

Check the switch connector first to see if pins are loose or has corossion. On that you can try a little electrical grease. Beyond that they're too cheap to mess with.Just get a new one for 9 bucks or less on ebay or amazon.Common problem for switches to fail.https://www.ebay.com/itm/Ignition-Ke...FSrwBr&vxp=mtr
