My Kymco 450i UTV will fit in the back of a full size pickup. .56" wide, 1100 lbs. Top quality and a much better price than the brand names!

 

Most SXS will fit a pickup bed on the width, provided they are under 60". It's the length that varies.... Will need at least an 8' L box.

 

A full size long bed, what used to be referred to as the regular size, is big enough to fit 4'x8' sheets of plywood, drywall, etc. between the wheel wells with the tailgate closed and still have a little room to spare. That's why builders have been buying them for several decades. There's usually about 3" extra width and length but it depends on the year and make. You can get a 50" wide SXS in with about 1.5" between each side and the wheel wells. For anything much wider than that you need to have enough clearance to drive over the top the wheel wells without bottoming out. Or without enough clearance if you just don't care. Some people do that, but it's really time for a trailer if you have something that big.

 

I have access to a friend's 7X14 trailer (no walls) for now. This would be 2 ATVs (potentially mine and he has a quad). The same size would be perfect for a SXS and a ATV...

 

Yeah you would want to put the lighter atv in the front loaded from the side and it would give you just enough room to put the sxs behind it. Would be a little less tongue weight and the heavier side by side would be more centered on the axle as well.

 

I would load them that way too and see how well the trailer was balanced. On a 14' trailer you might only have a foot of room left over depending on what models they are. With 2 ATVs loaded one behind the other you'd have just about zero room left if they were both utility models.

 

I was thinking the atv and sxs. That's the only way they would fit. The atv would be about 4 ft wide and the sxs would be about 10 ft long, there's your 14 ft.

 

This way should work, It's a 14' trailer with ATV and SXS (10' long)

 

I see a lot of trailers that size with the axle farther back. They usually have lawn mowers on them, but one of my friends got one to haul his ATVs on. I've never seen both of them on the trailer at the same time. He doesn't take a spare with him.

 

That's what I was thinking. The trailer that size that my local dealer sells actually has a side loading ramp in the front so you can more easily load the atv. This trailer looks more like the one that's designed to haul 3 atvs loaded from the side but also one atv and and one sxs as pictured.
