I also agree about owning multiple helmets for different seasons but 2 would be enough for me, enclosed for winter and MX for the rest of the year. I bought an open face helmet for year round use before I bought my MX helmet which I like way better. I still have my old helmet and can wear a breath deflector to keep my shield or goggles from fogging up, but if I still rode in winter I would buy an enclosed helmet. I wish I knew enough to buy 2 different helmets in the first place and wouldn't have bought the open face helmet at all.
