Hey everyone! So i could really use some help. I have a Raptor 350 and im trying to teach myself the whole wiring system. I couldn't get it to start when i first got it i had to replace the ignition coil stator and the cdi box a few little things here and there but had no clue really so i asked my bf for help....well it turns out he can start my quad with no key!! I found the source messed with the wires that go from ignition coil to the actual key ignition and had it all running with only the key....well.... he now has hot wired it by sticking the two main wires together....he thinks im that dumb....but my question is how the F%#k is that even possible??? It can't be that easy to jack someones quad can it??? And how the heck do i make it so u only can use the key??

 

buy a can am... can am is the only manufacturer that has security built into the ignition system... everything else 30 seconds and it can be stolen.... Only thing you can do is buy a good chain and lock it up
