Bought this quad a couple months ago and has run fine (it’s in really good shape) except the last couple rides it’s been low power and idle has been weird. I know, carb is plugged up since plug is coming out dry.

Question is, the PO said they put a cheap Amazon carb on it and put the previous carb in a box they claimed was oem. It looks exactly the same as the Chinese cheapo. So is it worth dropping $170 on a brand new oem carb or worth rebuilding/cleaning the Chinese junk? Or better yet, is there a straight up upgrade that’s plug and play that retains the oil injection?

-rebuild/clean Chinese carb
-brand new oem carb
-upgrade to better carb if there is one?
