Default A horrible (yet amazing) idea...

Hello, I'm new around here and I have a horrible and amazing idea at the same time. I was thinking about taking an old Go-Kart and 1. Making it a single seater, it is a two seater currently, and 2. Stuffing an engine from a dirt bike into it. I know, its a horrible idea (spine destroyer 9000) but it sound like suck a horrible idea I would do it. To get to the point of my first post, I am looking for a 200 to 250 cc engine to stuff in this thing. An item I would like on the engine is: electric+ kick-start. I do not mind if it is full manual or semi-auto, just no automatics, if they made them that size. I do not mind if the engine is old and air cooled, just not completely worn out. I do not care if it has a carb or fuel injection. I do not mind of any of these links- craigslist, Ebay, and anything except Facebook marketplace (I do not like dealing with Facebook). I am looking for it around West Michigan. I wish that the engine isn't too expensive. If it doesn't run when bought, that is ok, I am a OK mechanic (a lightly seased engine is ok).
I don't know what else to say in this thread, so I will just post it.

(I doubt that anyone will find this, if you do find this, thank you for reading it.)
Here's some pictures of the kart I'm putting the engine in. (not mine, pictures off the internet).

Welcome to the forums.

I can remember some of the motors we put in home made carts growing up. Not exactly safe, but we had fun and survived. Good luck!
