2004 arctic cat 400 auto
#1
Got a 2004 Arctic cat 400 Auto that wont stay at idle. I initially replaced the magneto due to the magnets falling apart and not having any spark. I also went ahead and replaced the spark plug and coil as well. After I got spark back, I could ride the atv but it wont stay running at idle. I checked the electrical and was getting over 17 volts to the battery, replaced the voltage regulator to fix that and am back to 13.5 volts. Still it dies at idle. Replaced the carburetor, still dies at idle. Checked the valves and all are within spec. Checked the spark plug, gap was too tight so I adjusted it within spec. Still wont stay idle more that 10 minutes after it warms up but you can ride it as long as the throttle is depressed. Please help. Im good but this thing is making me feel like an idiot.
