Hi there. I’ve got an 03 trx90 that the previous owner had got wired because the key was lost, I have since bought a new ignition and have followed the wiring diagrams but no luck with it working correctly. Does anyone have a photo of how there wires are run that may help me out?

 

That diagram is for a pull start 90, I'm fairly sure they were electric start by 03. However, You seem to have two dark greens, joined together coming from CDI, you shouldn't according to the diagram, the one dark green from CDI is earth, a pale green/red goes to the neutral switch, and black/white goes to ignition switch, which will be four wire on an electric start 90, so needs wiring up the right way. Note the pink going from the top gear switch to CDI, fairly sure this will be a rev limiter to stop you going too fast in top.
