Default Complete list of 2-Seat ATVs

I'm helping a neighbor who is considering getting into exploring the local areas on an ATV. He is interested in a 2 seat ATV so he can bring along his wife. I'm making a list of the models & I wanted to see if anyone knew of some that I'd missed. Here is my initial list:

Arctic Cat:
500 4x4 TRV (Passenger sits behind driver.) (493cc) (4x4)

Bombardier:
Sarasota (Passenger sits beside driver) (249cc) (4x2)
Traxter MAX (Passenger sits behind driver.) (500cc) (4x4)
Quest MAX 650 (Passenger sits behind driver.) (650cc) (4x4)
Outlander MAX (Passenger sits behind driver.) (400cc) (4x4)

Kawasaki: Mule Series
550 (Passenger sits beside driver) (286cc) (4x2)
3000 (Passenger sits beside driver) (617cc) (4x2)
3010 4x4 (Passenger sits beside driver) (617cc) (4x4)
3010 Diesel (Passenger sits beside driver) (953cc) (4x4)

Polaris: Ranger Series
Ranger TM (Passenger sits beside driver) (653cc) (4x2)
Ranger 2x4 (Passenger sits beside driver) (425cc) (4x2)
Ranger 4x4 (Passenger sits beside driver) (499cc) (4x4)
Ranger 5x5 (Passenger sits beside driver) (499cc) (6x6)

Yamaha: Rhino Series
Rhino 660 4x4 (Passenger sits beside driver) (660cc) (4x4)

Default Complete list of 2-Seat ATVs

Somewhere in my journey around the web, I've seen a two seater seat for a one person quad. It has a little step up in the seat for the passenger. I'll post back if I remember which site it was on.

There are more side by sides coming. I think Suzuki MIGHT be coming out with one.

Many places have width restrictions that prevent alot of side by side machines from riding. Make sure he checks on this before he purchases. I am very partial to the TRV but if a side by side was in order it would certainly be a Rhino.

There are a lot of "gates" on ATV only trails thas are 48" wide, some Bombs rub going through them. Side by sides are out of the question on a lot of trails here in Utah.

I think TRV's are a great idea. My wife and I have looked and considered them. She does not like the feel of sitting up higher in the passenger seat. I don't care for the added length. We would prefere a TRV that the seat was more like a motorcycle's than having the passenger sitting higher than the driver. We are very comfortable on our Rubicon with a rear Tamarack trunk. We had an upholstry shop make us a cushion for the back rest. 4000 miles and we are still content. If either one of us was much bigger or taller, maybe a TRV would look even better.

Isn't the side-by-side that Suzuki makes called a Samari?

You are correct about the possibility of limited riding areas. I do know of some areas within 30 minutes drive that have lots & lots & lots of jeep & similar trails (as well as bike on trails & quad only trails with fencing like you mentioned.) however he should be able to cruise the jeep trails no problem. So from the sounds of it, these are the current list of major two seaters. I'll print it up & give it to him tomorrow or something. Once he starts looking with intent to buy it means his next project is to clean out the garage so he can park whatever he buys!

Thanks for the help gang.

I think that's definitely one of the side by sides made by Suzuki.

the JohnDeereGator is not competitive in POWER, GROUND CLEARANCE, and most importantly FUN FACTOR!

the Gator is designed for the 65+ year old farmers who don't want to drive around in their rotted-out 15yr old pick-up trucks in the fields on their farm.

....i'm sorry if i've hurt anyone's feelings, but that's the facts!

I will admit the old Gator's fit that description but check out the new one. The question was list of two seaters not what they were going to use them for. They will be right up there with the Mule's, Ranger's, etc.

The Suzuki Samari is a small jeep. My cousin has one and is very fun to drive and play around in.
