Don't quote me on this, but I've heard that only the Dazon's are eligible for a green sticker in California. As for my KPX's, they came with titles, registrations, and off-highway vehicle plates. Making them legal for use on Arizona land.

Really, that's interesting. I didn't get any of that.

I saw this rev limiter posted on yahoo groups TJ powersports. Go to ebay and insert this number in the search box. 4504719825 If you don't find it let me know, I think I saved the info on the company that is selling these. They are supposed to add 1000 rpm. Hope this helps, Mike

Yeah, I saw that limiter. That was my conversation with Randy over there. Now that the KPX type carts are coming with an updated CDI I am wondering which way would be the best to go.

Wonder what they charge for the new carb.

Raptoraz, I "borrowed" one of your pictures to see what my buggy would look like without the rear rack.

here is the results:

I'll try to fab some brackets to hold the gas tank over the holidays, I've got as far as putting the fox decals on (those twister decals had to go) but haven't decided whether to paint the wheels yet.

should save about 20lbs I think. I don't think I'm going to get a whole lot more horsepower so I am resorting to trying to save weight.

Good job Kell. With new bolt on parts coming out in the second gen carts there may be some more hope for increased HP as well.

Those look quite awesome, but also a good deal beyond the kind of carts that we are talking about here. With 850cc, it must move pretty good. Must also be quite expensive. Still doesn't mean I wouldn't want one

Talked to Cool Rides in CO today. Not too much help there. They claimed they never modified one of these carts for themselves, but said the new 2005 model comes with an updated cdi, carburator, and reverse box. First time I heard there was a reverse box update. They also mentioned a performance exhaust, etc.

Sounds a lot like the 2005 KPX mentioned before.

Maybe if someone else calls them on a different day another answer will come out of it.
