No question, I'm a little nervous about the purchase. I'm in early, and that can be good or bad. By the way, it has the double chain like the Dazon, but isn't the Dazon's chain setup opposite sides of the axle? The Blade appears to have a double chain near the middle, almost touching each other.
Stu made it clear to me that the Dazon engine and the Blade engine were different. One of you spoke with him about that, from what I recall???

Yeah, he does reply that the engine is different. But he doesn't specify in what way it is different, etc. It would take a side by side comparison there for definative answers.

I've posted 11 Blade photos on my page. Some are brand new.
Stu responded to me via email and was very concerned that the decal issue be cleared up. I told him it was and that I've posted the new pics at the board. I also gave him the link to the latest posting page, so I expect him to be reading our posts. Constructive criticism is part of the process when these type of products come along. The boards are a fantastic tool to educate us. The decal question was justified. Stu responded immediately, as ususal, and we cleared it up. Coool, we move on to the next post. I sincerely appreciate the emmense and never ending flow of valuable information! I look forward to sharing my experiences with my Blade the second I get it cranked up.
How long does it take for the moderators to approve a pic addition/my page creation??

Dang... my company blocks zip access (probably a good idea). I'll just wait for the mods to release your page.

My Blade ships on Monday! It's a two day trek, so I should have plenty of time to get it assembled and tested before the big Christmas, heart stopping surprise. I've really been "playing" my daughters about a go-cart. They have wanted one for years. I've said no way. The other day my girls pointed at some crummy little go-cart like it was the neatest thing they've ever seen (complete crap). "It's only 799.00," they shouted. I squinted my eyes and asked "are you girls out of your minds???" I told them I wouldn't spend 299.00, much less 799.00. The next question was "do they have go-karts for 299.00?" They are so set up. This is going to be one of those never forget moments in their lives.
It looks like the mods got my page approved. Be sure and check out the Blade photos. Some of these photos may be on the Blade site, but I know a few are not, and may very well be the only ones on the net. I'm sure the black model's photos are new.
After Christmas, I'll have a few pics of our own.

Hi Ben,
Well, not to put too much of a mushy theme to the board, but it goes a little deeper for me also. I was 13 when my Dad bought me a motorcylce. We were middle class, just as we are now. Getting "stuff" was not a common occurence. I remember kick starting my bike in the closed up garage all hours of the night. I'd rev it good and loud, then shut if off before I'd get in trouble. My Dad told me one thing. Don't ride in the field near the High School, it was posted and the police would fine me. OF COURSE, while Dad was at work I rode all over, including a little trip to the field by the school. Yep, the law saw me. I rode wide open with the police hot on my trail. I had a nice lead on them, and turned on to my street certain I'd get away. I did ... sort of. I was still near wide open as I zoomed up my driveway and into the garage. Just before I got to the garage opening, I turned to get one last look to see if I saw the police. As I turned my head back straight, the top of my helmet caught the bottom of the garage door. I guess I was going much slower than it seemed, but it vaulted me backward in a back flip off my bike, while my bike continued straight into the back wall of our garage, smashing into the drywall. I was on the ground seeing stars, trying desperately to get on to my feet and get the garage door shut before the police turned the corner. My bike was okay, but the drywall was not. I stacked a bunch of junk in front of the damage. Well, Dad started a new life in SC. Mother lived there up until a few months ago. She passed away suddenly. Now, 30 years later, I'm fixing the house up to sell, including the busted drywall from my flee from the law.
Certain things you never forget. The kart I bought my girls for Xmas will be one of those moments. They are not spoiled. We don't have much. This is going to be a shock of a lifetime. I decided I wanted to go all out, if I go at all. They really meant it when they wanted to know if a kart was available for 299. And I truly mean it when I say that they'd be happy with a 299 cart. My wife and I have been trying to figure out how to present it. I thought about doing a number of things, but I may just put them through a wild adventure of packages and clues, eventually leading to the kart. Not sure.
Hey, I'd be real interested if anyone can come up with some sensational idea for the unveiling.
I guess I'm unable to lasso my excitement. To some, maybe it is mushy. But I now feel the emmense satisfaction my Dad felt 30 years ago. I had no idea how so true the saying is "it's better to give than to receive." And I can say without question, that the excitement and electricity I'm already feeling in anticipation, is absolutely equal to or better than what I felt sitting on my new bike in the garage at 13 years old.
I'm glad you were touched. Happy Holidays!
Joe

Picked up my xterroin Tucson, direct from Josh (nice guy). Got it home and assembled it it an hour. Problem is I had one spare part left which wasn't mentioned in the manual. Prepare, this is going to spawn into several questions. The spare part was a tube. The tube is about 10 inches long and looks to be a breather or a gas line.
So I looked over the machine closely for some place a tube could connect but didn't. I found none. Then I thought, maybe it connects to another tube. I found four tubes which were connected on one end only. I will provide manual pages and part numbers for those who have the manual.
Tube 1art Ref No.10, Part ID#M150-1001001. This tube comes off the cylinder head cover. One end is connected to the port off the head and the other end is thicker and has a clamp connected on it but is not connected to anything. Sometimes, these things are fed back with a PVC valve to the carb so I think this is a high candidate for connecting to something "it has an unused clamp so it must go to something!"
Tube 2art Ref No.22, Part ID#M150-1003400. This tube comes off the crankcase and doesn't terminate.
Tube 3art Ref No.28, Part ID#16199-GT8-600. This tube comes off of the float chamber and is used to drain fuel for winter storage so probably only one end should be connected.
Tube 4art Ref No.19, Part ID#95005-45270-50. Very short tube bending down coming off of the carb. Probably the intake for the needle jet?
Any info on the mystery tubes and these 4 tubes would be appreciated. The Kart runs as is but idle isn't perfectly steady. However, my 245lb bulk climbed 500 feet of nearly vertical mountain with the gas pedal barely down so the low end torque is awesome on the 2005!
Thanks
Heath
