I think it looks pretty awesome. Especially the rear end seen in the ebay listing there with the CV joints, etc. Looks like some mean suspension travel.

Check this out:

250?

looks like they already have a 250 version of our engines, would like to get my hands on this.

I agree it looks pretty cool & the independent would also ride good

Yep... looks to be 254cc. Has some sort of liquid cooling too by the looks of it. Cool (no punn intended)

looks like it has good output... Nearly 17hp

I am curious what everyone elses engine says on it.
mine says

157FM laser etched above the serial number, I know the 57 stands for the bore (or was it stroke)

I can't find this exact engine on the linhai website, would like to compare it to the yerf dog designation or carter XTV and KPX

Where are you finding the serial numbers? (so later I can find them quickly)

I'll try to look them up when I get home tonight

Sorry, my serial number is underneath on the cvt side of the engine case.

Anyone know how these do in the snow, we just got some this morning. I am afraid my tire tread is too shallow but I will find out tomorrow!

No prob... It all totally blew my mind anyway with all this christmas stuff going on.

On the KPX I am exactly the same... 157FM. And as a side note, my serial number is *04055754* Wonder how close we come?

On the XTV, it's a totally different animal. There is a code there, k00085, but no apparant serial number.

Oh, and I just blew around my front yard with both carts... it was fun. Enough snow to cover the grass... few inches. BIG power slides and rediculous donuts.

I bought one of those new in the box engines with all the electronics but haven't received it yet. It will be interesting to see what kind of valves etc. it has. Looks identical to mine but has black cvt cover. Anyway, if it has the same code as mine on it I will know it is the same, if not who knows? I am going to port the head on this "extra" engine and install it. That way I will have a complete backup engine in case she blows up or I break a belt or the cdi goes out. It wasn't cheap but wow you get everything.

Cool.. what did it cost... was it ebay? 150cc?

Keen industries has one with oil cooling that looks as though it has more output (12hp or so)

Going to be some really interesting things coming out of china now.
