In a global marketplace it is very hard to tell where everything is coming from unless you are the person orchestrating it. But I can tell you for sure that all Carters are not foreign made. Their classic carts and XTVs are american made in Alabama. The talon line from carter is chinese from what I've heard from mutiple sources. Kasea is a korean company, and they advertise as made in korea, but some of their carts look just like the chinese versions... who knows, maybe Kasea is having the frames made for them in china and finishing the cart in Korea. Anything is possible.

Only way to know for sure is to call carter and ask where the Talons are made. I'm willing to bet it's China though. Some of the new era carts look just like Carter/Twister.

Frames appear to be shared among final assembly manufacturers with only minor differences on frame appearance/cosmetics.

Just realized the KPX and Awesome Buggy style of carts have one less cross member on the roll cage behind the headrest then most of the other carts of this style. Probably no big deal... but wonder if they fair worse in a rollover at all? Maybe save some bending anyhow. Blade, Carter, Dazon, Twister have the extra bar.

When I talked to Stuart at Blade the other night, he mentioned he saw my post about parts being available on-line for easy ordering. He said that is something he wants to go ahead with. Sounds good!

On that note, Awesome Buggys updated their site a little bit finally. They state on there they can get or have parts to fit just about any chinese cart out there. They mention all the big names. I wonder how extensive the parts availability is though. If these guys can get literally every part for every cart then they sound like the guys that could shed light on the performance differences out there and boil it all down in a nutshell.

On other thing... they mention that their single is the same unit sold as the basic dazon single. They say it is from the same factory. I have to think there would be an engine difference, but who knows. Given that they are offering cross brand parts, it seems they would know.

Here's an odd thing though... the title of the single page is called XTERRO SINGLE 150CC (HULK)... so are they saying the KPX Xterro Hulk is exactly the same as the Raider 150????? Too much confusing info out there.

Absolutely. I'm sure I'll have lots of comments. I can't wait to get my hands on this bugger.

A nice side effect of having both the Xterro and the Blade will be seeing exactly which parts are going to be interchangable between the two and trying to get a feeling for the quality of the electrics, etc.

I can already see by the pictures that the braded lines are there (missing on kpx) and the nicer quality master cylinder is installed as well.

Just got off the phone with Dazon...they say March for their 250cc/18hp cart and about $4000. Top speed will be about the same so I assume they are leaving the CVT alone.

Any word on if Blade is coming out with a 250cc and when? I am in the market this spring and will have two people in the kart with some long hills in my trail system...

I asked AwesomeBuggys about their single seater that is said to be the same as the Dazon Raider 150 basic model. They state on the page that it comes from the same factory... I asked which factory they are from out of curiousity. I also asked if the engine was the same or something to that effect.

They stated:

the motors in these carts i am told come from syngin corp. i have no idea who
that is. i have orderded parts from dazon for these carts and they fit. thank
you for your interest, david

Not exactly what I was looking for, as my main question was the factory these are made out of.

Anyone ever heard of "syngin corp"?

I couldn't come up with anything...

Yes, sorry, that was an answer to your earlier question. Stu is coming out with a 250 blade. It is due in March as well and was stated to be 18hp.
