I spent an hour or so reading the 30+ page thread on the karts. Almost all the info was about the 150 karts and people saying the 250 karts are coming soon. I was looking at this kart http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...PcY_BID_Stores . The thing looks awsome but I was worried about power. I used to have an 85 Odyssey 350, I don't expect it to be that fast but I don't want to spend money on a dog. I'm not against doing mods to it but again I don't want a dog out of the box.

Few questions:

Who is the maker of the kart posted? I read some of the horror stories and would rather stay away from those manuf.
Does anyone on here have that same kart? If so how do you like it? Any pictures or videos?
Will this Kart spin the tires from a dead stop? I want to be able to do donuts and maybe take it to Silver Lake sand dunes. I don't car if it will climb *ALL* the hills but I'd like to climb a few. The kart looks rather capable of taking the dunes just fine, but again power is questionable.
Does anyone have any pictures or videos of these? Even non-owners.

I saw the pearspeed pics but the kart looks to be a little different. People said the 250 pearspeed karts were pretty doggy, and even slower than the 150 karts. Me and a buddy both plan on buying one so we can just mess around with our g/f's in the karts with us. I would just throw down the cash for a Pilot but my g/f wants something she can go in *with* me.

Well I think that covers it for now. I did some searching on the net and this is about the only place I could find any info about karts on. Any other sites with info would be great. I used to be a member here years ago when it first started but I forgot my user I.D. and the e-mail I registered with.

i bought two 150 xterra karts and they are a blast. i tend to be rather abusive to them as i live in rocky mountainous terrain and they hold up great suckin up the rutts and boulders. i have ordered a 250 from kpx motors which should be here in a few weeks. they come with 18 horse and from lots of experience i think that too much power would take some fun out of the equasion, like driving my modified porsche 930 on a road you cant go over 100 on. cant wait for the 250 kart.
