Default Tell me about this twister cart I got..

I bought this thing used from a guy at a yard sale. I don't know if it is a 150 or a 125cc. It appears to be a Hammerhead model with 2 seats. It has 19x7x8 tires up front and 22x10x10 tires on the back. It has a nice looking aftermarket exhaust and an aftermarket intake setup using an open K/N filter. It looks like it has sat for while but it runs good except it is really hard to turn the steering wheel, takes 2 hands and its still REALLY tough.
Runs pretty good except for at WOT, it will hold speed but doesn't run totally smooth. I pulled the main jet and it has a 140 in it, also checked the plug and it was on the darker side. Doesn't look like its running lean. Does the stock CDI limit the speed at all? Is that why it hesitates and won't go any faster?

It has dual horns, headlights, tailight, cig lighter, cooler rack, disc brakes all around.

Thanks for any help.

You oughta try throwing a 145 or a 150 jet in there and see what it does. As for the steering, try putting the front end up on blocks and see if it's anyeasier. Other than that, I'd try putting a steering stabilizer on it, maybe two, and see if that helps. Maybe there's no lube in the rack and pinion setup. Tear into it and grease it down with some white lithium grease or silicone lubricant. Those dry slick and don't collect dust.
