Default Rhino Hour meter

Was going to put an hour meter on my rhino. Got one off e-bay. Part of the inst. say to locate the meter between the alt. and voltage reg. Having a hard time finding the correct wire. Shop manual is a little hard to figure out. Would like some suggestions. Thanks

I installed an hour meter on my boat several years ago. The reason that they want it there, is because that wire will be energized only when the engine is running. You could tap into the hot side of the ingition switch, and be just fine.

By the digital dash unit. It has the hour meter, a couple trip meters, better display of 2 and 4 wheel selections and a speedometer. It plugs right in and installs pretty easy. It's far better than the stock idiot light package and worth the money....

Nasty

Here is a link that has some information. I person told me the orange wire to the CDI might work because it is only hot when running. I was waiting for someone else to try it first. Might as well be you.

I might try it tonight after I get run out of the house by Kat.

Now......get ready for Windrock!!!!!!
